The Number One Rule Is RESPECT

We prioritize respect for Islam, respect for fellow community members, and respect for this forum. We must keep respect in our minds when posting content, replying to threads, or messaging.
.
When posting in our forum, members must FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING RULES:

General Guidelines

  • Help build an online Muslim community that strongly supports each other, and promotes the true Islamic image.
  • The purpose of this forum is to educate non-Muslims and Muslims about Islam. We promote HEALTHY DISCUSSIONS.
Post Guidelines

  • Please make sure that you post in the appropriate forum.
  • Off-topic posting must be avoided:
  1. starting topic to re-discuss closed one
  2. posting only to increase post count
  • When quoting an article, story, poem, review, or any written material, (if known to you) you must mention the author or source.
  • Symbols or incomprehensible forms of text are not allowed to be used in your posts.
Honorable behavior must be observed every time, especially when replying to a post.
Post Content Rules
  • Negative or violent content is not tolerated in any form. We encourage you to debate respectfully.
  • Racist remarks will not be tolerated as Islam promotes anti-racism.
  • Posting sexual material or porn is not allowed.
  • Avoid debating over fatwas and asking questions that require a scholar as there is no one on the forum to answer such questions. (ask your questions from qualified people like imams or scholars etc.)
  • Since we are promoting the unity of Islam and the oneness of Allah so no sectarian issues are allowed. Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects), you (O Muhammad -- Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) have no concern in them in the least. Their affair is only with Allâh, Who then will tell them what they used to do.
  • Do not upload or post any content that is (haram), harmful, abusive, harassing, threatening, tortuous or invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Since it’s an Islamic forum so promoting religions other than Islam are no allowed.
  • No attacks against Islam (ISLAMIC TERRORISM) are tolerated.
  • When a long article/post has been posted, and you want to comment on the article/post, do not quote it since it is a waste of space.
  • Do not say "Islam says X" unless you have strong evidence - which means the Qur'an and the Sunnah. Always make sure to cite your sources. If quoting the Qur'an, give surah and ayah numbers. For Ahadees, you must mention the name of the collection, volume/book number, and hadeeth number. Unless you quoting from an agreed-upon authentic collection (i.e. Bukhari, Muslim) you must also provide authentic information.

User Settings
  • Avoid choosing a username that is problematic i.e. something that is Islamically unlawful. If you have such a username, kindly message an admin to change your username with an appropriate one.
  • Avoid mentioning false information in your profile.
