For an Islamic book I would suggest people to read 'Alfarooq' by Maulana Shibli Naumani.

I prefer using my selfmade hair oil that contains castor oil, olive oil and vitamin E oil mixed in equal proportions. Usually I buy these 3 oils from a certified pharmacy. Try it and the results will amaze you.
