According to the Sunnah, anyone performing the Hajj and Umrah should begin at Masjid-al-Haram and perform the Tawaf before moving on to any other locations. In this context, a report narrated from the mother of believers Aishah (R.A.), who said:
“The first thing He (PBUH) did when he came to Makkah was to do Wudu then circumambulate the House (Kaaba).”
