When performing Umrah, one of the most frequent misunderstandings and mistakes is believing that touching or wiping over any portion of the Kaaba and Maqam Ibrahim will result in Blessing and Mercy. This is not supported by the Sunnah or the Hadith. The Prophet (PBUH) only touched the Black stone and the Yemeni corner of the Kaaba.
